While changing the sheets on my bed, the daught offered to help. She said “Its time I learned how to make a bed.”
She’s 10, the concept has come up before, many times. “What about the last time I showed you?”
“That didn’t count.”
“And the time before that?”
“Nope.”
“And the time before that?”
“Still no.”
“Why in the world doesn’t that count?”
“You lost me at hospital corners, mom.”
At least she’s honest.
